Kanvar Nayer is a lecturer and coordinator of the industrial design program at Monash College in Melbourne. He recently completed his PhD which resulted in the development of 'MemoryBox' – a personalised multimedia system for individuals with dementia. Kanvar is also Director (Collaboration Design & Research) at CollabCare, currently working on the commercialisation of MemoryBox and other related experiences. His design and research interests lie in improving the quality of life of the geriatric population, their families and caregivers. Kanvar is a finalist in Dementia Australia's 2019 'Decoding Dementia' competition and was the Monash University finalist in the 3-Minute Thesis competition in 2013.
