Bolton Clarke Research Institute

I am the Head of Research and Principal Research Fellow at Bolton Clarke (formerly known as RSL Care + Royal District Nursing Service); and an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences at The University of Queensland, Associate Professor in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University, and in the Institute of Future Environments, Queensland University of Technology. Bolton Clarke Research Institute is embedded within one of Australia’s largest community health and aged care service provider that supports clients through community nursing, home support and residential aged care.

My research is underpinned by a 20+ year career as an allied health clinician and health service manager.   My specific interest is health services research that is co-designed with end-users, to improve the quality and safety of care for older people.
